An Overview of PA’s Victim Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP) and How to Apply

Learn more about the invaluable resource that is Pennsylvania’s Victim Compensation Assistance Program (VCAP). This program allows survivors of sexual violence to be eligible for funding, even if they have not reported the crime to police. For survivors of other types of crime (like street assault, gun violence, etc.) a police report is needed to qualify for VCAP funding.
