Your story is important. Whatever you’ve experienced, your story deserves to be heard. Dialectically, there is power in that story, and there are times when it can impact internal beliefs and shape how we experience life. I believe we are unique in our range and intensity of emotions. Sometimes emotions get big and make us act in ways we didn’t intend to or know ourselves to be. Sometimes we were never taught the skills to cope, or we can’t access skills in the moment. I aim to provide you with a space to safely explore your story and behavior patterns, so you can create change. If you’ve ever felt like you’re always apologizing or find yourself stuck in the same patterns of struggle, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself.
I primarily work with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as those who struggle with identifying, tolerating, or regulating their emotions. I’m passionate about helping individuals experiencing communication breakdowns, relational pain/trauma, or navigating relationship and family transitions. I aim to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can work through these challenges and build more effective, meaningful connections with yourself and those around you.
I take a strengths-based approach using tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I partner with clients to implement coping tools that align with your goals and values. I view therapy as a collaborative and individualized process, one that honors your unique experiences and moves at your pace. We will sit with the hard stuff while also making space for laughter and lightness, too. I encourage you to invest in this journey and view it as a path toward discovering yourself.
